Global Medicare Foundation assists local health authorities to provide basic and secondary healthcare services. This also includes referral pathways from rural community-level health facilities to large regional hospitals in the urban areas. We work closely with the population, the local authorities, and the government to ensure basic healthcare is made available at an affordable cost to underserved rural and impecunious populations in hard-to-reach villages and semi-urban centers; this includes internally displaced people, asylum seekers, migrants, and refugees.

Through our team of dedicated staff and volunteers, we offer training and support health services. This is done through a system of mentorship to health service providers, community leaders to enhance their capacity to deliver quality health services to the local populations. We help to rehabilitate health facilities and supply them with essential drugs and medical supplies including hospital equipment. Considering the need in many communities where there is the absence of a trained medical personnel Gender-Based Violence Prevention And Response, in collaboration with local authorities, we identify and train a medical professional to fill gaps in the health service system.
